BROWNSVILLE — The Calapooia Watershed Council will host an open house at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brownsville Baptist Church, 27910 Seven Mile Lane.

The evening will begin with a presentation by Aaron Wolf, professor of geography in the Department of Geosciences at Oregon State University.

Wolf also co-founded and directs the Universities Partnership for Transboundary Waters, a consortium of colleagues at 17 institutions around the world. Its goal is to develop a new generation of water-conflict experts based on every continent who can provide one another with a community of support. His presentation will focus on “Conflict Resolution in Water Resources: Global Perspective and Local Success Stories.”
