Global climate expert to speak at OSU Friday

A scientist on the international panel that won the 2007 Nobel Peace Price for their work identifying the phenomenon of global climate change is coming to Oregon State University for a lecture and reception at the OSU College of Forestry.

Steven W. Running of the University of Montana is scheduled to deliver a free public lecture at 3 p.m. on the topic "Implications of Approaching Global Limits on the Earth's Sustainable Productivity" in room 130 of Peavy Hall. A question and answer session follows at 4 p.m.

A member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Running is an OSU Forestry Alumni Fellow recipient.
