K-9 grabs suspect - 3 a.m., the Benton County Sheriff's Office joined in to help Philomath Police in a vehicle and foot pursuit of a couple who ran after crashing their vehicle in a field.
With the help of K-9 unit Bus, the male and female suspect were found hiding in cattail vegetation. When the male suspect would not comply with officer commands, Bus "engaged the suspect on the leg." The male suspect was arrested and then taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
