The third Southtown street party is taking place from noon into late tonight behind FireWorks Restaurant at 1115 S.W. Third St. Revelers will gather to celebrate the Fall Equinox (which officially arrives Monday at 11:44 a.m.). and raise money for the the South Corvallis Food Bank.
The event includes music from local bands Billy Sunrise at 1 p.m.; The Crescendo Show at 2, Adam Scramstad at 3 and John Ulrick with Santino Cadiz at 4. The Burning Truth Tribe, Gypsy Fire Dance Theater and Tyler Spencer on didjuridu also will perform.
The party will also include bellydancing, folk medleys, percussion and a grand fire-dancing finale to bid the summer farewell.
A village bazaar and green living fair will take place from noon to six.
