The Oregon State University Academy for Lifelong Learning is holding registration for their spring term classes. ALL is a peer-led, membership-driven cooperative.

Members are both students and volunteer instructors, who bring to the group a wealth of ideas, knowledge and diverse interest areas to share with peers. Most of ALL coursework is developed and led by fellow members. Classes boast active, participatory learning environments.

ALL is open to any mature adult. Participants do not have to be an OSU alumnus or retiree.

Membership in ALL is $100 per year. New members can attend as few or as many classes for a full year through March 2004. Additional fees may be charged for books, travel, class materials, etc.

Registration deadline for spring 2003 classes is March 15. Registration will be accepted after that date, but certain classes may be filled.

Classes for spring term include Making Democracy Work Right Here in Corvallis, US News Media: Their Political Role and Effects on "Conventional Wisdom," and a series on African art, culture, society and conflict.
