The Indoor Winter Farmers' Market has just kicked off its second year in Corvallis, and was so successful last year that it's moved to a bigger space at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
The market takes place on the second and fourth Saturdays through March, meeting inside Guerber Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Locally produced fruits, nuts, vegetables and smoked meats will be available to purchase for nourishment, and locally produced arts and crafts can likewise be bought.
Market attendees will also find special features each time the market meets. Saturday, the Bell Weather Wool Spinning and Weaving will provide the entertainment. Additionally, free well water testing will be provided by the Extension Service. A drawing will also be held for a gate-prize.
For more information, or to participate as a vendor, contact Kathy Powers at 929-2762 or Bertie Stringer at 456-2004.
