Outspoken, an a capella singing group from Oregon State University, is among the groups competing in quarterfinals of the West Region portion of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella.
The quarterfinal competition is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Hult Center in Eugene and will be hosted by the University of Oregon's all-female a cappella group, Divisi.

In addition to Outspoken and Divisi, other groups competing Saturday are Acquire from the University of California, Bellevue A Cappella from Bellevue College, Dulcet from Southern Oregon University, PLUtonic from Pacific Lutheran University, Mind the Gap from the University of Oregon and Noteworthy from Brigham Young University. Each group will sing a 12-minute set before judges.
In this 14th season for the ICCA, the top two groups from each of six different regions - West, Midwest, South, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Europe - are vying for a trip to their region's semifinal. The winners there will compete in the finals at the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts in New York City.
