Who would you cast to portray Barack Obama in a movie?
Of the 271 respondents to that question on gazettetimes.com, 74 (27 percent) picked Denzel Washington.
Runner-up was Will Smith with 68 votes (25 percent).
Here are the results for the other eight actors listed in the poll:
* Don Cheadle, 29 votes (11 percent).
* Chris Rock, 21 votes (8 percent).
* Cuba Gooding Jr., 16 (6 percent).
* Terrence Howard, 7 votes (3 percent).
* Taye Diggs, 7 votes, (3 percent).
* Omar Epps, 3 votes (1 percent).
* Philip Michael Thomas, 3 votes (1 percent).
* Mario Van Peebles, 3 votes (1 percent).
* None of the above, 40 votes (15 percent).
The poll appeared on the Web site from July 14 through 10 a.m. Monday.
