Corvallis residents can learn first-hand about Medicare's expanded health programs when the Medicare Prevention Bus Tour rolls into town Tuesday.

The bus will arrive at 4 p.m. at the Corvallis Senior Center at 25th Street and Tyler Avenue. The travelling Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services team will provide information and materials on federal health programs - such as new Medicare preventative services and Plan D drug coverage - and enroll eligible people.

The bus is featured as part of a health fair, and several local health care organizations and health plan providers will also showcase available services.

Admission to the health fair is free.
