Information comes from the Corvallis Police Department, Benton County Sheriff's Office and Oregon State Police. It does not include all calls for service. The status of incidents may change after further investigation. Locations are approximate. People arrested or suspected in crimes are considered innocent until proven otherwise.

Thursday, Oct. 16

BAR FIGHT: 12:51 a.m., Southwest Second Street and Madison Avenue. Three Albany residents were cited after an altercation at Peacock Bar & Grill, 125 S.W. Second St. Reports said bouncers tried to detain Grady Dewater, 24, who tried to get in a vehicle driven by his wife, Jennifer Dewater, 27. As a bouncer tried to get Grady Dewater out of the car, Jennifer Dewater drove forward 5 to 7 feet, dragging the bouncer. Meanwhile, Terry McCarthy, 23, saw the bouncers trying to detain Grady Dewater and allegedly tried to hit one of the employees with a pool cue. Bouncers wrestled McCarthy to the ground. Jennifer Dewater was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.05 percent. Grady Dewater was cited for second-degree disorderly conduct. McCarthy was cited for menacing and disorderly conduct.

Friday, Oct. 23

BURGLARY: 5:56 p.m., 800 block Northeast Woodcrest Avenue. Homeowners reported that while they were at work, someone entered their house and stole $738 worth of items, including change, a laptop and a portable safe with money and jewelry inside. The garage and back doors to the house were unlocked.

Saturday, Oct. 31

DRINKING: 11:14 p.m., Delta Upsilon, 235 N.W. 25th St. Officers and medics attended to a 20-year-old man who was vomiting and unresponsive. Sean Hayes of Philomath was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. He also was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Sunday, Nov. 1

BAD THROW: 1:21 a.m., 100 block Northwest Fourth Street. A man threw a 32-ounce cup full of an orange beverage into a parked patrol car. Joshua Westra, 24, of Vancouver, Wash., was cited for interfering with a police officer, offensive littering and third-degree criminal mischief.

NO FIRE: 2:16 a.m., Tau Kappa Epsilon, 1460 N.W. Van Buren Ave. Brandon O'Brien, 19, of Beaverton, was cited for disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief after he allegedly activated a fire alarm at the TKE frat house.

Friday, Oct. 30

LOUD NOISES: 6:11 p.m., 3200 block Northwest Glenridge Drive. Deputies responding to a noise complaint of loud explosions found the sounds were coming from a man using an agricultural rodent extermination device.

Sunday, Nov. 1

SEXUAL ASSAULT: Troopers are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. The alleged victim is a female Oregon State University student.

HARASSMENT: 5:50 p.m., Buxton Hall. Two 18-year-old women got into a fight over a guy. One of the women, Alison Nicole Plant, was arrested on a charge of harassment after she reportedly grabbed the other woman's hair and pulled her down.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

FIRE: 1:52 a.m., Wilson Hall. A fire broke out in a trash can in the third-floor men's room. Residents were able to put out the fire with an extinguisher.
