One person was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Friday night following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 99W and Llewellyn Road about eight miles south of downtown Corvallis.
The crash left two vehicles badly damaged and partially closed the intersection for about one hour Friday night.
According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, a Subaru was traveling west on Llewellyn Road at about 6:20 p.m. Friday when the vehicle failed to stop and collided with another vehicle on Highway 99W. One of the vehicles involved landed in the ditch.
One person was extricated from a vehicle and taken to the hospital with what were believed to be serious, but not life-threatening injuries, the Sheriff's Office said. Three other people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries in the crash, Sheriff Scott Jackson said.
The names, ages and cities of residence of the occupants in the crash were not released Friday night.
Highway 99W was closed to northbound traffic from about 6:20 p.m. to about 7:30 p.m. The Corvallis Fire Department and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
