The Oregon State University office of Student Leadership & Involvement is planning a pair of events on Monday for a community conversation about food insecurity.
The FEAST Community Conversations, run by the Oregon Food Bank, bring together community members to talk about the community food system and food security.
Monday's conversations are part of Hunger and Houselessness Action Week at OSU.
Both conversations will feature a provided meal and are open to all community members. Participants who bring their own bowl, cup and utensils will receive a gift.
Two separate conversations will be held, and participants are asked to register for one or the other:
• The first session will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday in the OSU Memorial Union's Multipurpose Room. To register, go to this website: tinyurl.com/lunchFEAST.
• The second session will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the commons of Linus Pauling Middle School, 1111 NW Cleveland Ave. in Corvallis. To register, go to this website: tinyurl.com/dinnerFEAST.
