Wanda Barnes of Harrisburg died April 25. She was 69.

Born to John and Eva in Cassville, Mo., she graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1957.

Wanda and Louis R. Barnes were married July 27, 1957, in Stevenson, Wash. He preceded her in death May 30, 1974.

Wanda worked for 25 years in supervisory and management positions for Di Giorgio Corp. and for 15 years at Hewlett-Packard as a clean room operator.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by a son, John R. Barnes of Woodburn; a daughter, Tammy L. Barnes of Harrisburg; a sister, Betty Jo Shepherd of Gallup, N.M.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services are planned for 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1385 Oakway Road, Eugene.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Lane County American Cancer Society.
