Feb. 13, 1924 - March 5, 2007

Dick Nelson, formerly of Corvallis, died Monday in Klamath Falls at the age of 83.

He was born to Perry and Blanche Nelson.

He married Lillian Quick on Aug. 31, 1957.

He is survived by his wife and five children, Nancy and husband Mitch Garrett of Medford, Diane and husband Jack Walker of Klamath Falls, Darla and husband Paul Welch of Redwood City, Calif., Jay and wife Karen Nelson of Corvallis and Tony and wife Martha of Corvallis; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dolly and husband Keith Marshall of Winona, Minn., and Naomi and husband Al Bergh of Everson, Wash.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marjorie Sorenson and brother Winston Nelson.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at McHenry Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, at McHenry Funeral Home.
