Sept. 26, 1919 - Sept. 13, 2008
Mary A. Williams, 88, of Cascadia died Saturday at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1919, in Klondike, she was the daughter of Edward and Louise Thomas. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, tending her koi pond and raising fuchsias. She was a wiz at any kind of puzzle, enjoyed all manner of wildlife and loved to watch and feed the birds (with the exception of pigeons!). She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her radiant smile.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph H. Williams, who died in 1969; her husband, John Seaman, who died in 2006; her brother, Marvin; and her parents.
Mary is survived by her two sons and their wives, Don and Diane Williams of Eugene, and Norman and Cheryl Williams of Corvallis; four grandchildren, David Williams, Jonathan and his wife, Sara Williams, Sophia Williams and Holly Williams; and one great-grandchild, Trevor Williams.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at McHenry Funeral Home.
