She was preceded in death in 2003 by her husband, Willard Williams; and in 2005 by her brother, Barry Smith. Eleanor leaves behind her siblings, Marion O'Brien, Coke B. Smith Jr. and Edward Smith; her loving daughters, Melanie Barrett and her husband, David, Lisa Little and her husband, Frank, Julie Barrett and her husband, Michael, together with stepson, David Williams and his wife, Arlene, and stepdaughter, Patrice Theken; her grandchildren Allison and Jennifer Theken, Erin Riley, Lauren White and her husband, Neal, Andrew Barrett and his wife, Diana, and Colin Barrett; and great-grandchildren Devin Elijah White and Kensington Elle Barrett.

A local service will be at 3 p.m. today at the McHenry Funeral Home in Corvallis.

A second celebration of her life and interment will take place Saturday, April 4, in her former hometown of Hartville, Ohio.
