Wilma "Nadine" Sytsma of Corvallis died Dec. 26 of cancer at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

Nadine was born in Tulsa, Okla., to Henry and Ethel Barton. She enjoyed gardening, her rose garden, children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Nadine is survived by five children, son, Roger Dilley of Cottage Grove, daughter, Nancy Anderson of Redmond, daughter, Carolyn Putney of Bellfountain, daughter Ruth Wesley of Roosevelt, Wash., and son, Max Dilley of Albany; a step- brother, Orville Snyder of Illinois; former husband and companion of 40 years, David L. Sytsma; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her sister Delores Jones of Corvallis.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at McHenry Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to a graveside service, which will follow at 1 p.m. at Alpine Cemetery in Alpine.

Remembrances can be made to the Monroe Fire Department for all of their help to the family in care of McHenry Funeral Home, 206 N.W. Fifth St., Corvallis, OR 97330.
