Peggy Cheairs died at her home in Albany.

Peggy was born in El Paso, Texas, to Horace and Doris Cheairs.

She enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Peggy's life seemed short, but those she touched understood the quality of existence exceeds the quantity of time one lives.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth; son, David; nine sisters; four brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in the Willamette Room of Villas at Courtyard, 1929 Grand Prairie Road S.E., Albany.
