Nadine K. Spooner, 85, of Lebanon, died, Tuesday, at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
Nadine was born December 24, 1932 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Lester and Audie McChristian. She had resided in Arkansas and Washington prior to moving to Oregon and settling in Lebanon in 1966.
Nadine had worked for the Stayton Cannery for many years prior to her retirement in 1995.
Nadine liked going to the coast. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard.
Nadine is survived by her husband James Spooner; her children and their spouses, Brenda (Matt) Russell, Linda (Steve) Akers, Carl (Sandy) Bruce, Ken (Liz) Bruce, Glenda (Charles) Stewart, Randy (Barb) Osburne, Tamaria (Marty) Suing, Orville Dean (Barb) Sloan, and Tearl Jay Sloan; sister Maxine Weir; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Norman McChristian; sister Betty Page; infant son Billy Joe Osburne; and great-grandson, Gavin Suing.
A memorial service will held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 15 at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
