1969 — 2010

Paul E. Winningham passed away peacefully in his sleep on Veterans Day, November 11, 2010.

He was born in 1969 in Richmond, MO, to Ronald L. Winningham and Jerry Carolyn Winningham Bishop.

Paul was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who served with the 1st Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment as a paratrooper and light-fighter infantryman.

More recently, he was a youth coach both in Anchorage, AK, and Corvallis, OR, in the sports of basketball, baseball and football. He had a zest for life, a contagious laugh and a fabulous sense of humor. He dearly loved his wife and family, and was a friend to all.

Paul is survived by his wife, Paula; daughter, Natalie; son, Wesley; his mother, Jerry Carolyn; brother, Robert; and sisters, Tammy, Paula and Kelly. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Winningham.

The service will take place Thursday, November 18, at Calvary Chapel Corvallis, 2125 N.W. Lester Ave., Corvallis, OR 97330, phone 541-752-2851. Visitation and final goodbye will be held from 12:30 to 12:55 p.m. The service begins at 1 p.m., with burial immediately following.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Wells Fargo in the name of Paula S. Winningham and family.
