Kelly Medors and Ronald Clement Jr. of Corvallis were married Oct. 4 at Stoneybrook Village, three weeks prior to Ron's deployment with the Oregon National Guard in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Kelly, the daughter of Larry and Peggy Medors of New Hampshire, graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvalle, Calif., in 1994. She received a bachelor's degree in human development and family science from Oregon State University in 1998 and a master's degree in correctional administration from Western Oregon University this past June. She is a child adolescent treatment specialist at the Children's Farm Home.
Ronald, the son of Ron and Lin Clement of Corvallis, graduated from Corvallis High School in 1999. He is a junior at OSU majoring in business administration. He is also a sergeant in B Co., 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry, which was called to active duty Oct. 12 for training at Ft. Hood, Texas, with subsequent deployment to Iraq. His tour is expected to last 18 months.
Beckie VanMeter was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Stephanie Medors and Courtney Routh, and her friends, Jaime Alspach, Nancy Roufs and Michele Butler.
Matthew Zedwick was best man. The groomsmen were Jeremy Turner, Doug Smith, Gabe Sapp, Christ Johnson and Evan Sether.
Special wedding guests were the groom's grandmothers, Jean Clement and Mary Westom, and his sister, Lisa Graham and family.
