Kathryn Nichole Carluccio of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Dallin David Bird of Corvallis were married June 7 in the Church of Jesus Christ of

Latter-day Saints in Rexburg, Idaho. Grant Jardine performed the ceremony.

Kathryn is the daughter of Ann Carluccio of Lehi, Utah, and Mike Carluccio of Detroit. She graduated from Sterling Heights High School in Sterling Heights, Mich., in 2003 and is majoring in business-public relations at Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho. She is employed by Madison Memorial Hospital.

Dallin is the son of David and Sherri Bird of Corvallis. He is a 2001 graduate of Corvallis High School and is majoring in graphic design at Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho. He is employed as a private consultant for graphic arts and web design.

The couple was honored with two receptions, one in Rexburg, Idaho, attended by many extended family members and college friends, and one in Corvallis a week later. The bride and groom were captains of ultimate Frisbee teams at Brigham Young University - Idaho, so the guests were given miniature personalized Frisbees to commemorate the event. At the end of the evening, the guests gathered outside the walkway and filled the air with the brightly colored discs as the newlyweds made their way to their car.
