Corvallis Police Department

THURSDAY, DEC. 7

CARELESS DRIVING: 1:51 p.m., Northwest Kings Boulevard and Northwest Grant Avenue, Corvallis. An officer stopped a car for alleged careless driving. The driver, Rashed M. Almansoori, was reportedly driving with a suspended license. The officer cited him for careless driving, driving uninsured and driving while suspended.

FRIDAY, DEC. 8

FIGHTING: 1:40 a.m., Northwest Monroe Avenue and Northwest 14th Street, Corvallis. An officer cited Caleb Stanley and Keaton Mekelburg for reportedly fighting in the street.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

THURSDAY, DEC. 7

DUII: 12:56 a.m., Southwest Third Street and Southwest Washington Avenue, Corvallis. A deputy stopped a car for an alleged traffic violation. The deputy arrested the driver, Max Stephen Engelbrekt, 24, of Seattle, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Engelbrekt reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12 percent.

Oregon State Police

MONDAY, DEC. 4

DUII: 4:21 a.m., Southwest 15th Street and Southwest Washington Avenue, Corvallis. A trooper stopped a car. The driver, Nasser Redah Alshkhori, 23, of Eugene, reportedly admitted to consuming marijuana previously. The trooper arrested Alshkhori for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: 1:06 a.m., Hawley and Buxton Halls on Southwest Jefferson Way, Corvallis. A person reported two women going into different rooms within Hawley and Buxton Halls. The person first thought the women were visiting people but then saw them go into different rooms. No items were reported stolen and the women were not located.

THURSDAY, DEC. 7

DUII: 2:05 a.m., Northwest Harrison Boulevard and Northwest 11th Street, Corvallis. A trooper stopped a car for reportedly committing multiple traffic violations. The trooper arrested the driver, Jae Yung Loux, 23, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Loux reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.16 percent.
