It does not include all calls for service. The status of incidents might change after further investigation. Locations are approximate. People arrested or suspected in crimes are considered innocent until proven otherwise.

Corvallis Police Department

FRIDAY, FEB. 9

FAIL TO REPORT AS SEX OFFENDER: noon, 180 NW Fifth Street, Corvallis. An officer cited Joshua Ian Graves, 23, of Oakland, for failure to report as a sex offender.

CAR VERSUS PEDESTRIAN: 6 p.m., 1030 SW Third Street, Corvallis. Police responded to Papa's Pizza for a report of a car versus pedestrian hit and run. A woman said her nephew was struck by a white SUV in the parking lot and the SUV drove away without exchanging information.

DUII: 8:55 p.m., Southwest Madison Avenue and Southwest Fourth Street, Corvallis. An officer responded to a report of a car driving the wrong way on Southwest Second Street. The car had parked in front of the Whiteside Theatre. The driver, Jason Phillip Yell, 31, of Junction City, reportedly told the officer he thought he was in Junction City. The officer arrested Yell for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. Yell reportedly refused to do a breath test.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: 9:56 p.m., Northwest Walnut Boulevard and Northwest Professional Drive, Corvallis. Police responded to a report of a pickup crashing into a sign and leaving the area, dragging debris. The destroyed sign belonged to Samaritan Health Plans. Police located the pickup in a parking lot on the 2600 block of Northwest Century Drive. Police cited Justine Marie Romo, 22, of Corvallis, for failure to perform duties of a driver, reckless driving and second-degree criminal mischief.

SATURDAY, FEB. 10

VIOLENT CONDUCT: 2:37 a.m., Northwest 15th Street and Northwest Monroe Avenue, Corvallis. Police responded for a report of a large fight and found about 20 people in the parking lot. Officers cited Jaye Jones and Diing Chuang for violent conduct.

STOLEN CAR: 9 p.m., 300 block of Southwest Eighth Street, Corvallis. A man reported his white 2000 Jeep Cherokee had been stolen from the parking lot at his apartment complex.

SUNDAY, FEB. 11

ASSAULT: 9:45 a.m., 400 block of Northwest 18th Street, Corvallis. A woman told police Christopher A. Pitts, 28, struck her in the head, causing a laceration. Pitts reportedly admitted to elbowing the woman in the head during an argument. Police arrested Pitts for fourth-degree assault.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

SATURDAY, FEB. 10

DUII: 9:34 p.m., Northwest Fourth Street and Northwest Jackson Avenue, Corvallis. A deputy arrested Kenneth Everett Kanenbley, 28, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Kanenbley reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of .07 percent.

DUII: 10:12 p.m., Highway 34 and Highway 34 Bypass, Corvallis. A deputy arrested Rigoberto Rodrigues-Morales, 22, of Tualatin, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. A drug recognition expert evaluated Rodrigues-Morales.

SUNDAY, FEB. 11

CAR ON FIRE: 12:34 a.m., Bellfountain Road and Milepost 9, Corvallis. Deputies responded to a car on fire and identified the vehicle had been stolen in Springfield. Due to the fire, deputies were unable to collect any evidence from the car.

DUII: 2:31 a.m., Southwest Philomath Boulevard and Southwest 35th Street, Corvallis. A deputy saw a car stopped at an intersection. The traffic light was green, and the driver appeared to be asleep against the window. The deputy arrested the driver, Marshall Thomas Reese, 26, of Salem, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Reese reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.24 percent.

DUII: 2:18 p.m., Highway 20 and Milepost 43, Blodgett. A deputy stopped a car for speeding and arrested the driver, Peter Norman Jackson Bradley, 39, of Independence, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Bradley reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.13 percent.
