FRIDAY, DEC. 29

THREE-CAR CRASH: 1:54 p.m., 400 block of Northwest Fifth Street, Corvallis. The driver of a Dodge Ram told police he was driving north on Fifth Street and crossing through the intersection when a Mercury Sable clipped the rear of his vehicle. The driver of a Toyota Camry said she was driving south on Fifth Street approaching the intersection when the Dodge was hit and spun into the front of her car. Both drivers said they had a green light. The driver of the Mercury, Jade Rayner, told police she was driving west on Harrison in the middle lane when she entered the intersection and hit the Dodge. Rayner stated she believed her light was green, but the Dodge driver claimed Rayner ran a red light. Police cited Rayner for failure to obey a traffic control device. The three cars were towed from the scene. No one was injured.

METH: 2 p.m., 800 block of Northwest Buchanan Avenue, Corvallis. An officer arrested John Michael Cadwell, 33, for possession of meth, possession of heroin and offensive littering.

FRAUD: 3:46 p.m., 3300 block of Northeast Oxford Circle, Corvallis. A woman reported receiving a check for nearly $4,000, which was deposited into her bank account. She believed she had taken a job requiring her to redistribute money to pay employees, but the check was fraudulent.

SATURDAY, DEC. 30

DUII: 1:35 a.m., 1400 block of Northwest Buchanan Avenue, Corvallis. An officer stopped a car after reportedly seeing the driver use his cellphone. The officer arrested the driver, Zachary Lyman Holmes-Wetzler, 21, of Corvallis for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Holmes-Wetzler reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15 percent.

CAR BURGLARY: 3:30 a.m., 3700 block of Southwest Bunchberry Avenue, Corvallis. A man reported that $3,500 worth of items, including a MacBook Pro, iPad 3, tools, clothing and bags, were stolen from his car.

CAR VERSUS BIKE CRASH: 12:07 p.m., 1100 block of Northwest Fifth Street, Corvallis. A man was pulling out of a driveway in his Ford Focus and reportedly failed to yield for a cyclist who was riding north in the bike lane. The cyclist was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. Police cited the driver, Edward Hudgens, for fail to yield right of way when entering the roadway.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 6:43 p.m., 3600 block of Northwest Goldfinch Drive, Corvallis. A couple reported they were eating dinner when a window shattered in another room. Police discovered a small pebble on the ground under the broken window. No suspects were identified.

DUII: 8:48 p.m., Southwest 15th Street and Southwest Jefferson Way, Corvallis. An officer stopped a car after the driver reportedly failed to maintain his lane. The officer arrested the driver, Walter Reyes-Kauhaahaa, 23, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Reyes-Kauhaahaa reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.09 percent. The officer noticed that both drivers' side tires on Reyes-Kauhaahaa’s car were completely flat. Reyes-Kauhaahaa reportedly admitted to using his cell phone while driving and hitting a curb.

SUNDAY, DEC. 31

DUII: 2:40 a.m., Northwest Ninth Street and Northwest Reiman Avenue, Corvallis. An officer stopped a car because the driver was reportedly unable to maintain his lane. The officer arrested the driver, Hermelando Sanchez-Santiago, 27, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sanchez-Santiago reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.17 percent.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: 6:38 a.m., 2600 block of Northwest Arnold Way, Corvallis. Officers responded to a house prowl in progress and reportedly found Colton Q. Fisher, 21, near the back door of the home. Police determined Fisher allegedly entered multiple cars in the area; attempted to enter another home on the block by prying the lock open with a plastic card; attempted to enter an additional home by means of prying the window screens open; and stole various pieces of mail. Police arrested Fisher for multiple charges and took him to the Benton County Jail.

MONDAY, JAN. 1

ASSAULT: 12:15 a.m., Northwest Monroe Avenue and Northwest 14th Street, Corvallis. A man told police Steven Scott Sims, 35, punched him in the face while he was standing outside Clodfelter's. The alleged victim said he walked away and returned 30 minutes later, at which time Sims threw a rock at him, striking the alleged victim in the chest. He said Sims threw an additional rock at him but missed his head and hit the window of Thai Chili. Sims was arrested for multiple charges and booked into the Benton County Jail.

TRESPASSING: 1:25 a.m., 2500 block of Northwest Mulkey Avenue, Corvallis. Police responded for a report of a man trying to enter a house. Officers reportedly found Jordan Lawrence Fee, 20, of Albany, climbing onto the upstairs balcony. When officers announced their presence, Fee slipped and fell 10 feet, hitting a trampoline and chair on his way down. Fee had a laceration to his right elbow and was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. The residents told police they did not know Fee and that he had attempted to open the door and knocked on it loudly. After being cleared at the hospital, Fee was taken to the Benton County Jail.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: 4:13 a.m., 3500 block of Northeast Manchester Street, Corvallis. Police responded for a report of a man hitting a woman in the face. William Brandon Ingley, 33, reportedly admitted to head-butting the woman in the face. The woman’s nose bled and swelled. Police arrested Ingley for fourth-degree assault.

SATURDAY, DEC. 30

DUII: 5:57 p.m., Northeast Conifer Boulevard and Northeast Holly Oak Place, Corvallis. A deputy arrested Sara Michelle Meloling, 36, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended after she reportedly crashed her car into a ditch. Meloling reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.19 percent.

SUNDAY, DEC. 31

DUII: 9:38 p.m., Northwest Highway 20 and Milepost 7, Albany. During a traffic stop, deputies arrested Odin D. Dobson, 28, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Dobson reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.13 percent.

MONDAY, JAN. 1

DUII: 12:13 a.m., North Sixth Street and Kelly Street, Monroe. A deputy stopped a car for having an obscured plate and non-DOT approved windows. The deputy arrested the driver, Leon Craig Nissen, 51, of Monroe, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of meth and tampering with drug records. Nissen refused to be evaluated by a drug recognition expert.
