Corvallis Police Department

MONDAY, OCTOBER 30

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: 9:19 a.m., Northwest Harrison Boulevard and Northwest Ninth Street, Corvallis. A man reported he thought he saw a man standing at the corner of the intersection pull a semi-automatic handgun out of his jacket pocket. Police searched the area and did not find the described suspect.

PUBLIC INDECENCY: 12:58 p.m., 800 block of Southeast Lilly Avenue, Corvallis. A woman reported a man she did not know exposed his genitals on the window of her car. A witness told police the man did not expose himself to the woman. Police discontinued the case due to the conflicting statements.

MENACING: 8:12 p.m., 800 block of Northwest Reiman Avenue, Corvallis. Police responded to Community Outreach Inc. for a report of trespassing. Officers located Donald Thomas Howard, 47, on the train tracks. Howard allegedly became aggressive and threatened to throw a rock at the officers. After a short amount of time, Howard dropped the rock and officers arrested him for menacing and took him to the Benton County Jail.
