Corvallis Police Department

MONDAY, NOV. 20

THEFT: 10:52 a.m., 135 Northwest Second St., Corvallis. A manager at Peak Sports reported a woman rented a mountain bike from the shop in September and failed to return the bike. The manager said he had sent a letter to the woman’s address demanding the bike back, but the letter was returned because the address was not current.

BIKE VERSUS CAR CRASH: 6:27 p.m., Northwest Kings Boulevard and Northwest Grant Avenue, Corvallis. Police responded for a crash and reportedly determined a cyclist, identified as Samuel Ward, was riding his bike on the wrong side of the road with no light when he was struck by a car. Police issued Ward a citation. Ward declined to be taken to the hospital.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

MONDAY, NOV. 20

STOLEN CAR: 11:30 a.m., 200 block of East Main Street, Alsea. A man reported his 1986 yellow Jeep Comanche had been stolen.
