TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24
DUII: 3:24 p.m., 700 block of Northwest Fourth Street, Corvallis. Police responded after a car reportedly side swiped several parked cars. A witness followed the suspect car to McMenamins. Police arrested the driver, Mark Douglas Roggenstein, 55, for failing to perform duties of a driver, driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of a weapon by a felon and driving while suspended.
INJURY CRASH: 9:42 p.m., Western Boulevard and Southwest Grove Street, Corvallis. Police responded to a crash between a car and a pedestrian. Officers reportedly determined the driver, Ashley Moore, was traveling westbound on Western Boulevard when she hit Ahmad Al-Mahameed, who was crossing the street approximately 50 feet east of the intersection. Medics took Al-Mahameed to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for treatment. Police cited Al-Mahameed for pedestrian failure to yield to a vehicle and cited Moore for speeding.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24
INJURY CRASH: 3:42 p.m., Northeast Highway 20 and Northeast Steele Avenue, Corvallis. Anna Kristine Botsford, 26, of Corvallis, was driving eastbound on Highway 20 and reportedly moved into the westbound lane, mistaking it for a turn lane. She reportedly hit head on a car being driven by a 42-year-old man from Albany. The man’s car was towed from the scene. The parties suffered minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital. Police cited Botsford for failure to drive within lane.
