Corvallis Police Department

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25

TRESPASSING: 11:01 p.m., 300 block of Northwest Kings Boulevard, Corvallis. A woman reported she was in her garage with her boyfriend when a man opened the door that leads to the fenced backyard. The intruder claimed to know someone at the house, and the woman’s boyfriend told him to leave. Shortly thereafter, the couple heard the back door of the house open, and when they went to investigate, they saw the same man walking out of the home. The couple did not believe anything was missing from the home. Police did not locate the suspect.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25

CAR VERSUS BIKE CRASH: 2:58 p.m., Highway 99W and Milepost 100, Monroe. Deputies responded to a crash involving a car and a bicyclist. A Junction City man said he was traveling south on the highway when a bicyclist, identified as a man from Springfield, crossed in front of his car. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
