Corvallis Police Department 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 23

RACIST STICKERS: 6:37 p.m., Northwest 30th Street and Northwest Orchard Avenue, Corvallis. A woman reported she found racist stickers posted to the backs of stop signs. Police did not say what was on the stickers. No suspects were identified.

FUGITIVE ARREST: 9:11 p.m., 1400 Northwest Buchanan Avenue, Corvallis. Police responded to Corvallis High School after a caller complained of a man wandering inside the school and acting unusual. Officers reportedly located Jacob A. Oaks, 30, and arrested him on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24

DUII: 1:49 a.m., Northwest 13th Street and Northwest Jackson Avenue, Corvallis. An officer stopped a car that did not have its headlights on. The officer arrested the driver, Ian Sedgewick, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. A drug recognition expert reportedly determined Sedgewick was under the influence of marijuana.
