It does not include all calls for service. The status of incidents might change after further investigation. Locations are approximate. People arrested or suspected in crimes are considered innocent until proven otherwise.

Corvallis Police Department

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

BURGLARY: 6 p.m., 600 block of Southwest Sagebrush Drive, Corvallis. A woman reported her home was broken into and several items were stolen, including a gold Michael Kors wallet, her social security card, driver's license, Onpoint Community Credit Union debit card, a shell gas card, spare car keys and spare apartment keys.

RECKLESS BURNING: 1:18 p.m., 500 block of Southwest Monroe Avenue, Corvallis. Police and firefighters responded to a small fire in the bark dust between the Corvallis Transit Center and City Hall. A CTS employee had poured water on the fire prior to the fire department arriving. Firefighters dumped a bucket of water on the fire. No suspects were identified.

RECKLESS BURNING: 6:20 p.m., 2300 block of Northwest Kings Boulevard, Corvallis. Police and firefighters responded to Rue 21 for a dumpster fire. The caller said they saw two men smoking cigarettes near the dumpster prior to the fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and the dumpster was destroyed. The suspects were not apprehended.

METH: 11:27 p.m., 300 block of Northwest Second Street, Corvallis. An officer recognized a man, Shane Deon Willis, 45, who had a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possessing methamphetamine. The officer arrested Willis and discovered he had meth in his pocket.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 1 p.m., 1000 block of Southeast Third Street, Corvallis. Police responded to the First Alternative Co-op for a report of someone stealing bananas, throwing them on the ground and stomping on them. The man fled before officers arrived and was not identified.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 4:28 p.m., 100 block of Northwest Second Street, Corvallis. Police responded to a report of a woman, identified as Diana Leigh Roberts, 35, of Corvallis, ripping flowers from the planters in Riverfront Park and taking trash from the trash cans and throwing both about the park. Roberts also reportedly stole a pizza stand from Demaggios Pizza. Police arrested Roberts for third-degree criminal mischief, offensive littering and third-degree theft.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

ASSAULT: 12:20 p.m., 3500 block of Northwest Samaritan Drive, Corvallis. Police arrested Adrian Zacharia Steele-Sanchez for fourth-degree assault for reportedly punching Gerald Fruichantie in the head multiple times.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

FUGITIVE ARREST: 8:14 p.m., 700 block of Northwest 12th Street, Corvallis. Police arrested Zachery Ryan Cochrane, 37, of Corvallis for multiple warrants, including a warrant for failure to report as a sex offender. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30

DUII: 5:09 p.m., Llewellyn Road and Fern Road, Corvallis. A deputy arrested Elizabeth June Bowman, 33, of Albany, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Bowman reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.10 percent.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

DUII: 12:33 a.m., Northwest Harrison Boulevard and Northwest Ninth Street, Corvallis. A deputy stopped a car for failing to maintain its lane. The deputy arrested the driver, Seong C. Kim, 27, of Corvallis, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Kim reportedly refused to provide a breath sample.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

DUII: 2:41 a.m., Southwest Philomath Boulevard and Southwest Technology Loop, Corvallis. A deputy stopped a car for failing to maintain its lane. The deputy arrested the driver, Fabian Olvera, 24, of Kennwick, Washington, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Olvera reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.14 percent.

RECKLESS DRIVING: 6:40 p.m., Highway 99W and Northwest Arboretum Road, Corvallis. A deputy noticed a car speeding on Highway 99W and saw it turn onto Arboretum Road. When the deputy pursued the car, he saw it had crashed into a ditch. The deputy arrested the driver, Adam Jacob Israel, 20, of Corvallis, for reckless driving.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

DUII: 2:15 a.m., Southwest 53rd Street and Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis. A deputy stopped a woman after she parked a car on the sidewalk. The deputy arrested the woman, Tara Joy Arthur, 43, of Alsea, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Arthur reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.21 percent.

SEARCH AND RESCUE: 3:44 p.m., McDonald Dunn Research Forest, Corvallis. A deputy responded to the forest for a report of two women who had been hiking and were lost. Using the GPS coordinates of the lost women, the deputy located them and took them to their cars.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

DUII: 12:24 a.m., Highway 20 and Milepost 48, Philomath. A deputy stopped a car for speeding and arrested the driver, Andrew Bryce Askew, 19, of Braggs, Oklahoma, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (drugs).
