Kappa Delta Sorority at Oregon State University will host its 25th annual “Mock Rock” event Friday to raise money to fight child abuse. The event is from 7 to 10 p.m. at Gill Coliseum and features a lip-sync and dance competition. Doors open at 6 p.m.; tickets are $12.

The Alpha Kappa chapter of OSU’s Kappa Delta Sorority joins thousands of Kappa Deltas across the nation in this fundraising effort, and 80 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence in Corvallis.

The remaining 20 percent will go to Prevent Child Abuse America, Kappa Delta’s national philanthropy, to help fund nationwide public awareness programs.
