The annual Sustainability Fair and Town Hall is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Monday at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center.

The fair portion of the event, which includes 60 exhibits from Corvallis Sustainability Coalition action teams and local businesses, runs from 5-7 p.m.

Free refreshments will be available, donated by Valley Catering, and Shep Smith’s old time string band is the musical entertainment

The town hall portion runs from 7-9 p.m.; registration is required (see information box).

The town hall includes the annual “community scrapbook” that summarizes sustainability achievements of the coalition and its partners.

The keynote speaker is Vicki Robin, the best-selling author of “Your Money or Your Life.” Robin will discuss her new book, “Blessing the Hands That Feed Us.” Robin also will be on hand from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday to lead a workshop on local food at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.
