Veterans' Day assembly, 9:15 a.m., gymnasium, Franklin School, 750 N.W. 18th St. Corvallis-area veterans and their families are invited to attend the presentation in their honor. The intent is to educate and raise the level of awareness of students regarding contributions of veterans in U.S. history, and pay tribute to all veterans for their sacrifices, honor and duty to country. Students will sing patriotic songs, perform a short play, and celebrate the nation's veterans.
