I would like to thank the Oregon State University assistant football coaches for stepping in after Gary Andersen's sudden departure. T.J. Woods lives just down the street from me and he and his wife have done a nice job fixing up the formerly foreclosed house they purchased three years ago.
The whole OSU coaching staff pretty much lives in our neighborhood and they have been very family oriented and impressive neighbors. Our neighborhood was flattered when the coaching staff decided to move down here as in general we don't get a lot of credit here at this end of the town. I speak for my neighbors but we really hope as many of them as possible will remain as we shall miss them down here in Southtown.
I did notice that the coaching staff works really hard as Mr. Woods' pickup is often leaving quite early for work and coming home late. I am sure we are all jaded a bit by the amount of money football coaches make but given the hours they work and the uncertainty they put up with I believe they may be worth it!
