This holiday season, I’m urging my friends and neighbors to vote "yes" on Measure 101 in the new year. Here’s why:
Voting yes on Measure 101 means protecting accessible health care for our most vulnerable neighbors. Today, too many Oregonians, especially college students, work two to three jobs just to pay tuition and costs of living and can’t afford to pay for health insurance.
One of the best things written into Measure 101 is that it is specifically written to ensure funds go directly into the Health Services Fund to be used for funding health care programs. This means less government waste and more people getting the care they need.
All Oregonians deserve health care. Health care should be a right, not a privilege for selected people. I’m voting "yes" on Measure 101, and I hope you will, too! Make sure to check "yes" on your ballot this January.
