Registered Democrats are invited to join an evening of holiday cheer, hear from a U.S. Congressional candidate and bid on auction items at the Benton County Democrats' annual Holiday Party and Auction.
The party will run from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Benton County Fairgrounds auditorium in Corvallis. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Jamie McLeod-Skinner, who is running for the Second Congressional District seat, will be the keynote speaker. Sen. Sara Gelser, D-Corvallis, will serve as master of ceremonies.
The event will include both silent and live auctions with auctioneers Harry Demarest and Cameron Osborn, as well as live music and a dinner prepared by Valley Catering.
There is a $5 requested donation at the door, though no one will be turned away for inability to pay. Though it’s not required to attend, organizers request that those planning to attend RSVP at bit.ly/2jtsJwS or call Rick Osborn at 541-908-6384.
