FRIDAY, DEC. 8

INJURY CRASH: Philomath Police responded at 2:22 p.m. to an injury crash at 11th and Applegate streets. No other information was available in the media log.

SATURDAY, DEC. 9

INJURY CRASH: The Benton County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle crash at 11:41 a.m. on Bellfountain Road and Starr Creek Road. A car was traveling south on Bellfountain Road and negotiating a left hand curve near Milepost 8 when the driver reportedly lost control on the icy corner, spun across the road and went into the ditch. A passenger was taken to the hospital.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Philomath Police responded at 10 a.m. to a report of attempted burglary in the second degree at La Rockita.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 13

HIT AND RUN: Philomath Police responded at 1:19 p.m. to 19th and Main streets for a motor vehicle crash in the intersection. A semi tractor-trailer that was involved did not stop. There were no injuries.

THEFT: Philomath Police responded at 3:53 p.m. at Philomath High School for a report of a stolen bicycle.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Philomath Police pulled over a vehicle at 9:22 p.m. at 53rd Street and Technology Loop in Corvallis and investigative leads led to a search. User amounts of an unidentified controlled substance were seized for further analysis.

THURSDAY, DEC. 14

TRAFFIC CRASH: Philomath Police responded at 10:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of Applegate Street for a traffic crash investigation.

BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: The Benton County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burglary at an unidentified Main Street business. The business owner reported that sometime between 10 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, someone had entered through an improperly secured door. An empty backpack worth $100 was missing. Deputies entered blood found on a light switch and two hairs into evidence. There were no suspects.

FIRE ALARM: 4:22 p.m., 1100 block of West Hills Road.
