FRIDAY, OCT. 20

BURGLAR ALARM: A Benton County sheriff deputy and Philomath police officer responded at 12:20 a.m. to a residence on the 2100 block of Primrose Loop for an activated burglar alarm. The alarm was accidentally activated.

SATURDAY, OCT. 21

BURGLAR ALARM: A Benton County sheriff deputy and Philomath police officer responded at 1:45 a.m. to Kings Valley Charter School for an activated burglar alarm. They found no signs of forced entry or missing property.

DUII: Benton County sheriff deputies responded to a request from Albany Police Department to locate a car that had reportedly struck a residence in North Albany and left the scene. A deputy located the car at 2:25 a.m. on the 2300 block of Main Street and arrested the driver, Kyle Alan Swank, 27, of Philomath, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Swank’s blood alcohol content reportedly measured 0.16 percent, twice the legal limit.

SUNDAY, OCT. 22

WARRANT: Philomath Police cited and released Robert LaFollette, 35, of Brownsville, on a charge of driving with a revoked license and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Police pulled over LaFollette at 12:27 a.m. on the 2300 block of Main Street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Philomath Police responded at 1:30 a.m. to Main Street and 19th Street for a report of a fight. While en route, dispatch reported to police that one of the individuals was lying in the middle of the intersection. After investigating, police arrested Dustin Schaffner, 28, of Philomath, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

DUII: A Benton County sheriff deputy responded at 5:49 a.m. to Decker Road and Decker Ridge Road for a single-vehicle crash. The driver, Kai Austin Miner, 18, of Philomath, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Miner’s blood alcohol content was not included in the incident report.

MONDAY, OCT. 23

THEFT: A woman reported to Philomath Police that she mailed a $140 money order to her landlord but that her landlord never received it. She learned that it was deposited by an unknown person into an Oregon State Credit Union account.
