MONDAY, AUG. 21

FALSE REPORT: A Benton County sheriff deputy arrested Kyle Ritchie, 37, no city or residence listed, on charges of improperly using 911, initiating a false police report, suspicious activity and second-degree disorderly conduct. The arrest took place around 9:32 p.m. at Marys Peak. Further details surrounding the charges were not provided.

THURSDAY, AUG. 24

RECKLESS DRIVING: A Benton County sheriff deputy arrested Nicholas Borden, 27, no city of residence provided, on a charge of reckless driving after reportedly following the motorcyclist as he rode south on Kings Valley Highway between mileposts 26 and 29. Borden allegedly passed vehicles at speeds more than 100 mph and was caught on radar going as fast as 126 mph.

MONDAY, AUG. 28

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Philomath Police arrested Naoimi Notman, 33, on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct for allegedly running into traffic in the area of 19th and Main streets. Notman, who has no fixed address, was booked on an additional charge of aggravated harassment for allegedly spitting on a Benton County sheriff deputy’s face.

TUESDAY, AUG. 29

WELFARE CHECK: Philomath Police performed a welfare check at 10:27 p.m. at a residence on the 1300 block of Applegate Street.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 30

DUII: Philomath Police arrested Eric L. Patterson, 36, no fixed address, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop at 12:35 a.m. near the junction of Highway 34 and Highway 20.

FALSE ALARM: Philomath Police responded at 6:58 a.m. to what turned out to be a false burglar alarm at the gas station at 1830 Main Street.

BURGLARY: Philomath Police were called at 8:48 p.m. to investigate a burglary that had reportedly occurred earlier that day at a residence on the 1700 block of Applegate Street. The thief reportedly entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole cash from a desk.
