Helen (Tudy) Marie Cleveland of Philomath went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 3, 2017.
She was born on February 20, 1930 to Hobert Guy and Mona Grace Murdock in Princeton, Kansas. She grew up in various places in Kansas and then moved to Oregon where she met Gordon Cleveland. They were married December 3, 1948. Together, they raised five children in Blodgett and then moved to Philomath.
Tudy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always enjoyed being there for her family. She enjoyed laughing, gardening, reading, sewing, cooking, singing, playing the piano and spending time with her family and pets.
She was a long time member of the Blodgett Community Church and enjoyed teaching Good News Club and singing in the choir.
In 1965, Tudy and Gordon opened G&R Body Shop in Philomath where she worked in the office for 34 years.
She is survived by daughter Christy Stueve and husband Chuck of Philomath, daughter Cindy Hilton and husband Jay of Blodgett, son Tim Cleveland of Blodgett, daughter Tammy St. Clair and husband Jerry of Blodgett, son Tom Cleveland and wife Sheila of Philomath; brother Gary Murdock and wife Cathy; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon; parents; brother Guy Murdock Jr; and daughter in law Sandy Cleveland.
At her request, a private family service will be held at a later date.
