OSU is 6-2 vs. Southeastern Conference teams the past four seasons; 6-1 vs. Georgia and 0-1 vs. Vanderbilt. -. Today's OSU starter, Tanner Robles, was 3-2, with a 6.31 ERA as a freshman in 2008, and is the first lefty to start an opener since Jake Postlewaite in 2004. Saturday's starter, Tyler Waldron, a transfer from University of the Pacific, was 3-7, 5.20 with the Tigers. Sunday's starter, Greg Peavy, was 2-3, 4.96. -. OSU junior SS Joey Wong started all 52 games in 2008 and has started 107 of 119 games in his two-year career. He is one of three returning regulars for the Beavers; the others are junior C Ryan Ortiz and senior OF John Wallace.
