OSU women's golf in 16th place

KAHUKU, Hawaii - The Oregon State women's golf team is in 16th place after the first two rounds of theTurtle Bay College Invitational at the George Fazio Course at the Turtle Bay Resort.

The Beavers shot a 313 team score on Tuesday and are at 627 after 36 holes. The tournament ends today, as does OSU's fall season.

The Beavers were led by sophomore Whitney French, who fired a 3-over par 75 and is at 9-over (78-75) 153.

The Beavers resume play at 6 a.m. today. The final round will be played on the 6,361-yard, par-72 Arnold Palmer Course at Turtle Bay.
