Quarterbacks

D

Many of Ryan Katz' passes were tipped at the line. Some of his passes were off target. His INTs ended key drives. It was a growing year.

Running backs

C

Jacquizz Rodgers ran with an aggression, but still had limited room to maneuver. He was used as a receiver more and did well.

Wide receivers

C-

When Markus Wheaton was thrown to regularly OSU moved the ball. The group needed to get open sooner and more often.

Offensive line

D

Running room was hit and miss for Rodgers. Katz was under pressure when blitzes weren't picked up. All that led to was stalled drives.

Defensive line

C-

That was a strong performance to contain the running between the tackles. There was some pressure on the quarterback, but not enough.

Linebackers

C-

They weren't fooled with the misdirection, the Ducks just had too much to handle and kept hammering away with the running game.

Secondary

C

Receivers were covered well and they didn't make any big playss. The short stuff chipped away and run support taxed to the limit.

Special teams

C-

Returns and coverage were solid. The failed fake field goal was very obvious. The killer was the fake punt the Ducks ran back for big yards.

Coaching

D

The defense played an inspired game with big stops and forced turnovers. The offense couldn't find any consistency.
