Former Arizona State throwing standout Ginger Jarchow has been named the new director of operations for the Oregon State cross-country and track and field programs, coach Kelly Sullivan announced Monday.
A native of Peoria, Ariz., she threw the hammer, javelin and discus for the Sun Devils under new OSU throwing coach David Dumble. She was the team captain as a senior and ranks ninth all-time at ASU in the hammer with a PR of 192 feet.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from ASU with a Bachelor’s of Science in sociology, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Leadership and Ethics. She was a Sun Devil Scholar athlete from 2012-16, twice earned Pacific-12 Conference honorable-mention all-academic honors, and was awarded a Regents High Honors scholarship.
