TORONTO — Former OSU football player Dave Mann, 79, died of complications due to dementia on Tuesday, according to the Toronto Argonauts.
Mann was a multi-purpose star with the Argonauts in the 1960s. He also once appeared in a made-for-television movie with Bill Cosby.
Mann lettered for the Beavers in 1951 and then spent three seasons with the National Football League’s Chicago Cardinals before moving north. He was also a baseball player in the Pacific Coast League before turning his full attention to football.
