OFFENSE: Oregon’s powerful spread offense comes into Reser Stadium with the fifth-best rushing offense (313.6 ypg) in the nation. The passing offense (234.7 ypg) is seventh in the Pac-12, total offense (458.3 ypg) first, and fourth nationally, and scoring offense (51.1 ppg) is second in the nation. … RB Kenjon Barner (129.6 ypg) is ranked sixth nationally and third in the conference. There are three others who average at least 46 ypg. … QB Marcus Mariota (168.0 rating) is first in the Pac-12 and sixth nationally. He completes 69.8 percent of his passes and has thrown for 29 TDs and six INTs. … RB De’Anthony Thomas is his favorite target with 40 catches for 34.6 ypg and four TDs. Five others have at least 20 receptions.

DEFENSE: The rush defense (151.8 ypg) is sixth in the Pac-12, the pass defense (228.9 ypg) is fourth, total defense (389.7 ypg) is sixth and scoring (21.8 ppg) is third. … LB Michael Clay leads the team in tackles with 82, 50 of them solo. … The team has 20 INTs led by LB Kiko Alonso, CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and CB Avery Patterson with three each. … Ekpre-Olomu also has 15 pass breakups and six forced fumbles. … There have been 26 team sacks led by DT Taylor Hart with seven and DE Dion Jordan with five.

SPECIAL TEAMS: The 14.7-yard average on punt returns leads the Pac-12, but the 17.1 on kickoff returns is last. Thomas averages 17.1 on punt returns with a TD. … P Jackson Rice averages 39.3 yards. … The kicking has been sketchy with 6 of 11 missed.
