OFFENSE: As expected, there’s plenty of passing with Leach as the new coach. The Cougars rank third in the Pac-12 (333.0 ypg) and 12th nationally. … The running game (45.6 ypg) is last in the conference and 119th out of 120 teams. … The total offense (378.6 ypg) and scoring offense (25.0 ppg) rank eighth. … QB Connor Halliday is third in the Pac-12 in passing (300 ypg) and eighth in efficiency (122.0 rating). … Marquess Wilson (30 receptions, 499 yards, 5 TDs) and Isiah Myers (26, 247, 4) are the top receivers.

DEFENSE: Stopping teams has been the issue.
