SAN FRANCISCO — The Pac-12 Conference released the 2017 men’s soccer all-academic teams on Thursday, with seven Oregon State players making the cut.
To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and appear in at least 50 percent of their team’s games.
Junior Nathan Braaten, senior Jaime Miralles and senior Timmy Mueller were selected to the Pac-12 All-Academic first team as Mueller earned his third selection and Braaten his second.
Additionally, junior Hassani Dotson, senior Jordan Jones, sophomore Loke Strenov and junior Don Tchilao received honorable mention.
SAN FRANCISCO — The Oregon State volleyball team had five student-athletes named to the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, headlined by Kory Cheshire and Lanesha Reagan.
Cheshire and Reagan are all-academic second team members for the second straight year. In addition, Kayla Ellis, Maddy Gravley and Mary-Kate Marshall received honorable mention.
The Beavers face North Carolina State in the first round of the NCAA tournament at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Austin, Texas.
