The Oregon State softball team dropped a 7-5 decision at home to UCLA Friday afternoon.

The rubber match of the three-game Pac-12 series will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday.

UCLA (29-11, 5-6) jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the fourth inning before OSU (20-18, 3-8) came roaring back with single runs in the fourth and fifth and three in the sixth. But the Bruins were able to hang on.

Alysha Everett went 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs to lead the Beavers at the plate. Sammi Noland went 2 for 4 with a run scored and Jessica Garcia belted a solo home run.

Madeline Jelenicki went 2 for 3 with four RBIs for the Bruins.
